The first Market at Condado de Alhama was held last night in the Al Kasar car park and could only be described as a resounding success. I would estimate that well over a 1000 people from all across the region attended and helped to make our first market the highlight of the week. All visitors parked on the outer road and the excellent security staff guided them into the resort, many thanks to them and to our administrators, Mileniun, for the way this event was organised.
There were a large range of products available from cloths, painting, local art to the usual fine array of locally produced vegetables all at the usual low market prices. we now have enough lettuce ( 4 for a euro ) to keep the better half in salads for the week. The highlight for me was the ham stall selling a wide selection of locally produced cured and smoked hams and chorizo, I simply died and went to heaven, then came back and spent far to much on kilo’s of different hams yum yum 
The market also had a very positive effect on Al Kasar, the supermarket was packed with visitors taking a look around, all very positive and as new units open in the coming months I’m sure that the Saturday Market will bring in the trade to help them all become successful.
The effect of the market on the Clover bar was indescribable, it was absolutely packed both inside and out in what must of been the busiest night I have ever seen there, including the past two new years eve parties, luckily the staff had planned ahead and 5 members of staff were on hand to quench the thirst of the shoppers but even they had trouble keeping up with demand at the peak. Whilst we were there they changed at least 6 barrels and I would hate to guess at the number of Cubo del la Cerveza that passed over the counter.
So here’s looking forward to next weeks market, if they all remain as good at the first it can only be good news for the community.

La fecha de la Junta General de comunidad, se ha fijado para el 29 de mayo. Esta se llevará a cabo en dos sesiones.
El orden del día será:
Sesión de la mañana
1. Aprobación de las cuentas
2. Aprobación del nuevo presupuesto
3. Elección de los Presidentes
4. – Acciones a tomar
Sesión de tarde
5. Ruegos y preguntas
El lugar de celebración de la Junta General aún no ha sido fijado, en cuanto se conozca será dado a conocer a todos ustedes.
Dada la importancia de los temas que se tratarán y los problemas por los que atraviesa nuestra resort Condado de Alhama, se ruega encarecidamente la asistencia a la misma.

On Saturday 21st November there was a Level 3 Presidents meeting, This meeting was attended by all the garden presidents along with representatives from RPM and Polaris World. The meeting lasted from 10am until around 4pm and a number of subjects were discussed.
